Ett revanschsuget Chalmers tog emot Baltichov sent på onsdagskvällen. Matchen startade jämnt mellan bägge lagen och följdes åt med mål åt bägge håll under de första minuterna. Likt som senaste mötet sätter Baltichov upp ett långsamt tempo men vi lyckas ända spela den handboll vi vill och försöker skruva upp tempot när vi har bollen. Tyvärr har vi i första halvlek problem med att trycka dit bollen när vi får läget och missar en del skott vilket gör att halvleksresultatet fastställs till 13-12.  

Andra halvlek börjar bra för Chalmers och vi lyckas gå upp i en tremålsledning och får med oss en del utvisningar på grund av ett fulspelande Baltichov. Baltichov tar timeout efter 40 spelade minuter och får efter det ny energi och tar ikapp underläget och lyckas även gå om med en boll. Vi är i detta läget lite stressade och tar timeout med drygt 10 minuter kvar att spela. Vi pratar då om viljan att visa att vi verkligen vill vinna matchen och att det inte är läge att slappna av. Direkt i anfallsspelet visas vilja i genombrott och fina kombinationer vilket gör att vi återtar ledningen. I de avgörande minuterna kliver även Andy fram och gör avgörande räddningar från friläge och linje. I slutändan är det Chalmers som för matchen och har ledningen större delen också. Med tålamod och samarbete så lyckas vi vinna välförtjänt med 28-26.

Chalmers HK were looking for revenge in the return match agaist Baltichov late Wednesday evening. The match started evenly between both teams and was followed with goals in both directions during the first minutes. Like the last meeting, Baltichov sets up a slow pace but we still manage to play the handball we want and try to increase the tempo when we have the ball. Unfortunately, in the first half we have trouble getting the ball to the back of the net when we get the chances and miss some shots, which makes the half-game result to 13-12.

The second half starts well for Chalmers and we manage to pull up a three-goal lead and get some 2 minutes penalties the right way because of a foul-playing Baltichov. Baltichov takes time out after 40 minutes played and after that gets new energy and catches up and even manages to gain a single goal lead. We are a little stressed in this situation and take time out with just over 10 minutes to play. We then talk about the desire to win and showing that we really want to win the game and that it is not the time to relax. Directly in the attack game, will is shown in breakthroughs and nice combinations, which means that we take the lead again. In the decisive minutes, Andy also steps forward and makes crucial saves on breakaways and from the line player. In the end, it is Chalmers who is in charge of the game and is in the lead for most of it too. With patience and cooperation we manage to win, well deserved with 28-26.
